Air conditioning regas, leaks and repair, for a system that cools and holds its gas.
Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm. Sunday closed.
When to book it in
It blows warm, or only slightly cool.
It takes much longer to cool than it used to.
A musty smell when it starts.
A new noise from the engine bay when you switch it on.
Worth knowing before you book
A system loses a very small amount of gas over the years. One that needs regassing again within months has a leak, and topping it up repeatedly does not fix it.
What the MOT does and does not cover
Air conditioning is not a testable item on the MOT. A car can pass with air conditioning that does nothing at all.
